Low Energy and Acupuncture in Asheville

Low energy and fatigue are very common symptoms that I treat people for at the Blue Ridge Acupuncture Clinic in Asheville, North Carolina.

Low-energy can be a side effect of many different disease processes or mood disorders. I typically recommend that a patient get a complete blood count (CBC), a vitamin D test, and a thyroid test.

Often, the thyroid levels are sub-clinically low, and in that case a glandular extract of bovine thyroid and the right herbs can restore energy levels. In other words, your doctor might tell you that the thyroid test is normal and within the acceptable reference ranges, but you still have common symptoms of low thyroid. In those cases of sub-clinical hypothyroidism, we still need to treat the thyroid.

Vitamin D levels also play a key role in SAD, or seasonal affective disorder, often contributing to low energy levels and fatigue.

Often people who are depressed have very low energy and fatigue. In fact low-energy is one of the most common symptoms of modern life. Depression is multi-factorial, and needs to be treated with a comprehensive lifestyle plan for those people who do not want to just take a drug to try and alleviate the symptom of depression temporarily.

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine is incredible effective at helping people with low energy and fatigue.

For thousands of years the Chinese have utilized acupuncture and specific herbal remedies to help give people more vitality and to combat fatigue.

At the Blue Ridge acupuncture clinic in Asheville, North Carolina we don’t simply use acupuncture and Chinese medicine to help a person attain a “little bit” more energy. We help people achieve optimal wellness and create more vitality than they’ve ever experienced in their lives.

To learn more about how acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine can give you abundant zest and energy, for a lifetime of joy.
